My name is Michael and I have been playing hockey ever since I was 3 years old. My confidence was always a problem for me but this hockey moment really changed that. It was in the Halloween Classic that I crashed the net picked up a rebound and scored top shelf on my backhand then I flew backwards through the air and landed on my back with my stick raised. We ended up winning the tournament! Ever since then I’ve referred to that as the backwards Bobby Orr which is even more special for me because I am a Bruins fan and I’ve always loved Bobby Orr even though I have never been alive to see him play. 🙂 I really needed that boost of confidence to get better and excel! Now I am doing just that! Ever since then I’ve been so into hockey and I’ve been looking to sign up for Hockey OT for a while to get even better. I need to definitely improve my hockey fitness and specific goals like shot power, quickness, and upper body strength to name a few. I really want to make a high school hockey team so I will need Hockey OT to do so and if I continue to excel and get better then I hope to play College hockey and maybe even Juniors. These are my goals so far for hockey and Hockey OT, some more confidence, and a lot of Off-ice and On-Ice Practice will definitely help me achieve them! This was my favorite moment in a game because it changed the way I played and thought forever! It?s one of the most influential moments for me in hockey because now I’m so into it and well hey I’m here aren’t I and if it weren’t for that I might not be in this contest. Oh I even have a picture of me when I was on the ground to bad it wasn’t when I was in midair 🙁 lol that’s OK though I put it on the Hockey OT page if you wanna check it out.
